I’m lucky enough to have a studio that looks out over the ocean and Wellington harbour. It’s unbelievably stunning! In the bush beside me we get a whole range of birds including fantails, tui, finch birds and even a morepork (owl). Then when I look out to the ocean I see these magnificent seagulls, not the run of the mill ones, but giant ones. I haven’t quite worked out what they are yet, but they are truely spectacular. This design is inspired by them.
