Soft botanical made from a photo of one of my favorite fabric sunprints. the image was duplicated, flipped and turned, and different opacities were layered over each other. My botanical sunprints are a way of combining my love of flowers and gardening with my love of quilting and fabric. The original print is made by painting wet cotton fabric, laying fresh or pressed plant material I have collected onto the painted surface before placing it in the sun to dry. The drying process causes the prints to form in various intensities.
