mysterious dark background.
This 18th-century-inspired camellia pattern pays homage to Chinoiserie and Rococo. The flowers and foliage were photographed by me in my mother’s garden in mid-spring. I think you’ll agree it’s a perfect pattern for chateaux or pied-à-terre, manor house or cottage. I hope you enjoy it. My “La Traviata” collection is named for Giuseppe Verdi’s opera, which is based on Alexandre Dumas’ “La Dame aux camélias” (“The Lady of the Camellias”). Note that the background may appear darker on certain fabrics like Celosia Velvet.
