As members of my family come from Cornwall in the south-west of England, many happy holidays have been spent making sandcastles and sand boats to sit in, using buckets and spades. These were decorated with sand sculptures made from plastic shapes of star-fish and also with shells found on the beach. Balls, rugs and wind-breaks also featured, so they all appear in this design.
