I love masking textures! I got obsessed when I was a kid from watching an episode of an old cartoon variety show called Kablam! on Nickelodeon...a character was moving across the screen, but instead of animating her hair, they cut out the shape and ran it over a huge photographic background texture. It was mesmerizing.
