This is a collection of rich traditional colors from Japan often seen in nature, food, pottery, temples and shrines, kimono, Japanese art, the performing arts, literature, the life of the nobility, and the Royal Family. Amazingly, these color traditions and combinations are still used in modern design. In this collection, familiar western color names are used in the titles, with the traditional Japanese name and Hex code given in the description box for each of the colors. Note: some colors are VERY close to one another, but yet delicate and subtly different.
