‘Birds in a Bunya Pine by Su_G’ (https://www.spoonflower.com/fabric/13605200): My entry in Spoonflower's 'Birding' Design Challenge. Original: Ink pen on paper. © Su Schaefer 2022 My inspirations were a photograph I took of some tiny birds in the Dharug National Park near Sydney, and a Bunya pine in our backyard that some different, bigger birds liked to sit in... all of which reminded me of meeting a twitcher near a waterhole around Wyndham in Western Australia who asked me: "Have you seen a Yellow Chat?" I had no idea what he was talking about... until I met more twitchers, also engaged in completing '100 birds I have seen' lists. It's a unique occupation.
