About the Design

Text from the first few paragraphs of The Wealth of Nations, written by Adam Smith in 1776, considered to be the first English text written on economic theory. Search Spoonflower for 'mbapalette' to see coordinating business and economic designs, and other colors/sizes of this design! I find myself disagreeing with Mr. Smith about values and priorities, and hesitated making a fabric out of it, but am offering it for the historical importance of the document - a forerunner to much of our automation, industry, and assembly-line practices. The text block is 6" wide and 30" long, 300 DPI.
