A totalistic cellular automaton, neighborhood 9, 6 states, run on hidden words including "I spy with my little eye". I can easily make different designs with different hidden symbols. In this version each pixel is blown up to 3x3 to make the words legible in Spoonflower previews. The puzzle is harder if I leave the pixels at 1x1 or 2x2, but while these might be discernible on wallpaper, they won't be on cotton. Pattern is generated on a virtual torus, so should tile nicely.
