The Winner
About this design:
Sit back and relax because it's break time in the new Spoonflower factory! We recently moved our US factory into a 110,000 square foot space with seemingly endless blank walls. This week we are challenging you to design wallpaper with our two new break rooms in mind.
Details
Artists can take inspiration from how employees use the space. “Spoonflower's two break rooms are havens from the hustle and bustle of the factory, where the team can go to sit (safely distanced at the moment), recharge, and enjoy a delicious coffee, snack, or meal.” shares Holly Anderson-Earls, Vice President of Operations. “The break spaces are the "home" spaces inside the factory, where fun artwork is posted on the fridges, food is abundant, and the atmosphere is relaxed.”
“The break rooms have always been a gathering place and they hold many happy memories for me!” adds Paula Atwood, Operations Manager. “The words I would associate with our break spaces are inviting, friendly, happy, restful and food-centric.”
Now that you have a better understanding of the space don’t forget to also check out our top tips for creating large-scale designs for wallpaper.
After the Spoonflower community votes on all the design entries, the top 10 will be voted on by Spoonflower employees to determine which two designs they’d love to unwind alongside during their break. The first and second place winners will both be used as wallpaper in the two factory breakrooms.
Please note: The design challenges are meant to inspire fresh, original ideas, so using anything in your design that isn’t uniquely yours like logos (including the Spoonflower logo) will be disqualified. Visit the blog to learn more about Spoonflower’s Design Challenge rules and moderation process.
